John Child has been helping his clients rent, buy, sell and invest in real estate since 2005 in Southeast Pennsylvania centering on five school districts: Radnor, Lower Merion, Haverford, Upper Merion, Tredyffrin/Easttown, Marple/Newtown, Great Valley Springfield, Garnet Valley and Colonial exclusively in Montgomery County, Chester County, Delaware County and Philadelphia County.
John's successfully negotiated over 140 real estate transactions since 2005. Before that he worked with a group of investors in buying, rehabbing and re-selling properties in the City of Philadelphia where he learned all the ins and outs of REO and Bank-Owned real estate. John's expertise is three fold: 1. he asks all the questions that help his clients focus their energies to the maximum. 2. He negotiates contracts like a pit bull by treating your money like it's his money. 3. John Oversees all the Transactional details to get your transaction to the settlement table.
By way of background. In the 1990s John was a stock broker specializing in helping his clients invest in corporate and municipal bonds; options; individual stocks, mutual funds and fixed and variable annuities. In the 1980s John worked in the Advertising Agency business producing print and film/video for commercial and industrial clients. Before that he did a stint in the US Merchant Service where he worked on oil tankers, oceanographic research (spy) ships and freighters in the North Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans as well as the Med.
John's a graduate of Penn State University and Conestoga Senior High School where he was Class of '72's Senior Class President. John's a big fan of Historical Atlases, histories and his son's dog Howard (who has his own YouTube Channel @ GarrettHillHoward). John has 3-YouTube Channels: BUYinPhillyNOW ; SELLinPhillyNOW; RENTinPhillyNOW where he's segmented the various phases of buying, selling and renting in the Philadelphia Area.
John, his wife and son are members in good standing at Holy Ascension Antiochian Orthodox Church in West Chester.
